Abstract
This paper sets out the describe the design and development process, and features of a multimedia public information system, the Passenger Route Finder (PRF), which was developed by the MTI Multimedia Centre in TCD for London Underground Limited (LUL). While dealing with some technical aspects of the project, the paper will concentrate on the system’s design, the nature of the development team and our experiences of developing such a system for a commercial client to a tight schedule.
