Abstract

This work presents a designed and optimized dual-band bandstop filter (DBBSF) with stepped-impedance resonators (SIR). This enhanced filter functions at the 5G NR mobile network bands centered at 1.5 GHz and 3.5 GHz, respectively. An adjusted optimization method is employed to meet the design specifications. The birding of optimization is switched from high-accuracy models to low-accuracy models by using this method. The numerical results of this enhanced filter indicate a great performance at the bands n50 and n78.
