Abstract

To boost the performance and reduce power consumption, embedded systems have lately benefited from multicore technology. The parallel benchmark using OpenMP is used to evaluate. In this research, three SMP multicore embedded processors, as well as a multicore CPU for a desktop PC, were utilized. The findings show that, despite low memory performance, programs that are highly required for future generation high-speed computing. This paper presents an extensive survey on the assessment of multicore processors for embedded systems.
