Abstract
A new Method for reducing the degree of an interval polynomial is presented. The method is shown to be better than a previously suggested method ([4] and [5]) when the degree of the reduction is small. Some numerical comparisons and an application to a boundary value problem is given.
Abstract
Wir geben eine neue Methode für die Reduktion des Grades eines Intervallpolynoms. Es wird gezeigt, daß diese Methode besser ist als eine frühere Methode ([4] und [5]), wenn der Grad der Reduktion klein ist. Einige numerische Vergleiche und eine Anwendung auf Grenzwertprobleme werden angegeben.
