Abstract
In this paper, we re-derived the new auto-correlation function based on Jake’s Model, and an universal minimum mean square error (MMSE) channel estimator are proposed based on the new auto-correlation function. Therefore, the proposed MMSE channel estimator can be adopted to various channel scenarios owing its inherent robustness. The performance of the MMSE channel estimator is investigated through a practise DVB-T standard, which shown that the MMSE channel estimator can achieve the extraordinary minimum square error performance at a low complexity.
