Flow and heat transfer in underexpanded nonequilibrium jets of carbon dioxide: Experiment and numerical simulation

Abstract

The results of experimental and numerical investigations of heat transfer on a cylindrical model with a 10-mm-radius flat face in underexpanded jets of dissociated carbon dioxide under conditions of operating parameters of a 100 kW high-frequency plasmatron are presented.
