Abstract
In order to solve the problem that the coupling between converter stations and the uncertainty caused by parameter perturbation in VSC-MTDC system have adverse effects on the stability of the system, this paper applies the neural network internal model control to the VSC-MTDC. Neural network is used to construct internal model and internal model controller, in addition, a feedback controller is added to the control system to cope with the problem of poor control effect caused by insufficient training of the neural network internal model and the neural network internal model controller in the early stage of the control system. Finally, simulation verification in MATLAB/SIMULINK shows that the neural network internal model control can not only weaken the coupling between the converter stations, but also can well deal with the uncertainty caused by the parameter perturbation of the control system.
