Foreword: This book contains the proceedings of the 21st International Conference on Security and Cryptography (SECRYPT 2024). This year, SECRYPT is held in collaboration with the ESEO, which hosts this event in Dijon, France, on July 8-10, 2024. SECRYPT is sponsored by the Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication (INSTICC). SECRYPT 2024 is organized in cooperation with the Association of Cyber Forensics and Threat Investigators. SECRYPT seeks submissions from academia, industry, and government presenting novel research on all theoretical and practical aspects of data protection, privacy, security, and cryptography. Papers describing the application of security technology, the implementation of systems, and lessons learned are also encouraged. Papers describing new methods or technologies, advanced prototypes, systems, tools and techniques and vision papers indicating future directions are also encouraged. In response to the call for papers, SECRYPT has received 175 papers in total, with contributions from 41 different countries in all continents, confirming the success and global dimension of SECRYPT 2024. To evaluate each submission, a double-blind paper evaluation method was used: each paper was reviewed by at least three experts from the International Program Committee in a double-blind review process. The selection process followed strict criteria. So, only 29 papers were accepted for oral presentation at SECRYPT as full papers (16,5% of submissions) and 27 as short papers (15,4% of submissions). The program also includes 40 poster presentations. The conference program also includes 2 plenary keynote lectures, given by Vincenzo Piuri (Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy) and Vicenç Torra (Umea University, Sweden). We would like to express our thanks to all colleagues who contributed time and effort to put together the conference program. Our thanks go to the members of the Program Committee and the external reviewers, for all their hard work in the paper evaluation. A special thanks goes to the keynote speakers, who accepted our invitation to deliver keynote talks at the conference, sharing their knowledge and vision. Thanks to all the authors who submitted papers. A special word of appreciation for the hard work of the INSTICC team; organizing a conference of this level is a task that can only be achieved by the collaborative effort of a dedicated and highly competent team. We hope you find the program of SECRYPT 2024 interesting and inspiring for your future research, and offering helpful references in future works. Last, but certainly not least, our thanks go to all the attendees as attendance and participation is the vital part of a conference. We hope you find the conference programme stimulating and wish you all a constructive conference. We hope to meet you again next year for SECRYPT 2025, Details for the next edition will soon be available at https://secrypt.scitevents.org/ (More)
