Enes Akbuga

Enes Akbuga is a faculty at Drake University where he is teaching mathematics and education courses and doing research in mathematics education. His current research focuses on student motivation and interest in postsecondary mathematics courses. Previously, He worked at the University of Michigan for his postdoctoral training at the School of Education. He earned his Ph.D. degree in mathematics education from Texas State University, and he taught several undergraduate mathematics courses there working as a Doctoral Teaching Assistant. Also, he received a B.A. in Mathematics Education from Hacettepe University in Turkey. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a secondary school mathematics teacher at several institutions and tutored K-12 students.
