Roger Brooke
Most of my interests are in the interconnected fields of hermeneutic phenomenology and the foundations of psychology as a human science, psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy, and Jungian psychoanalysis. My formative intellectual and professional years were in the tumult of South Africa in the 1980s.
My book, Jung and phenomenology (Routledge, 1991/2015), has been republished as a "Classic Edition."
Current primary interests are veteran's issues, psychotherapy research, ecopsychology and the wilderness experience, and endurance sports, especially running.
Affiliate member, InterRegional Society of Jungian Analysts.
Board Certified in Clinical Psychology with the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
Supervisors: Most formative supervisors were Gillian Straker, Dorianne Weil, Dianne Wulfsohn, Dreyer Kruger, and Les Todres.
