Abstract

This paper presents one method of theoretical analysis of the reflection characteristics of a metal strip array (a reflector for a SAW resonator). In the analysis, the equivalent circuit model including energy storage effects and propagation losses is used. By application of the image parameter theory, the expressions for the reflection characteristics are derived in closed and simple forms. As examples of numerical calculations, the reflection characteristics for the array in the second harmonic range are investigated.
