The paper tends to look at divorce and the wellbeing of women and children. The essay will work towards identifying possible consequences of divorce to women and children. In pursuit of the focus of this paper it treated numerous issues. It did an introductory overview, it looked at why some children are more affected by divorce than others, it examined possible social, emotional, religious, spiritual and physical health, consequences of divorce to women and children, it x-rayed the possible consequences of divorce for sexual behavior also the study gave a way forward to addressing the issue of divorce in our society. Descriptive and analytic approach was adopted in analyzing the body of the paper. The essay notes that divorce generally puts women and children at greater risk for many kinds of problem such as depression, lonely, frustration, poverty and so many others. However, the paper recommends that government should provide rehabilitative progamme for the children and women of divorce family so that they can adjust in their emotional, spiritual, social and physical trauma.

Many years ago, traditional music has been a veritable tool for entertainment in the broadcast media. This study sought to find out ways in reshaping, restructuring and renovating the impact of traditional music in human society. Good traditional music provides the abundant ingredient of cultural heritage, entertainment and emotional feelings. It also aides quick cultural transmission from one generation to the other, such that it is an epitome that showcase the way of life of people. The traditional music on the broadcast media elicits some emotional responses to a traditional music performance which are subjected and rooted in sensational and deep feeling. In other words traditional visual music in the broadcast media has been described as something that gives latent psychological and spiritualizing effects in all its elements and application (Nzewi 1980, p.27). The study however used the uses and gratification theory to explain better the need why the society needs the traditional music to survive. In traditional society like Africa, bearing in mind that the traditional music is one of the most valuable modes of communication, findings proves that there is a downfall in the application of traditional African music to communicate. It for this reason and many more that the researcher recommends that African society have no choice than to go back to our culture and tradition and see how we can use them to develop ourselves economically, socially and politically especially now that the entire world witness decline in the traditional music system.

Abstract

The essay will work towards identifying areas of weakness and strength of communications applied in the aforementioned association. In pursuit of the focus of this paper it treated numerous issues. It did an introductory overview, it examined the major types of communication, x-rayed in detail the communication process and method, it also highlighted the causes and barriers to communication in the said association, also the study gave a way forward to the issue of communication breakdown. Descriptive and analytical method was used for the study. The study was anchored on the democratic participant theory. The essay notes that the ineffectiveness of communication in an organization will breakdown the management productivity. However, the work recommends that if every individual in an association takes personal responsibility to make sure he works in complete effectiveness with his co-workers, no matter how many barriers come in the way, a responsible employee will always know how to overcome it.

In pursuit of these, the paper treated numerous issues. It did a review on the nature of African news agencies, it examined the function of news agencies, and it also highlighted the challenges facing news agencies in Africa and proffered solutions to it. Analytical method was used for the study. The study was anchored on the uses and gratifications and dependency theory. The findings for the study is that all the challenges facing African news agencies is as a result of civilization and increase in technological competition. However, the work recommends that all agencies should embrace internet strategies to reduce communications costs of news collection and news delivery to subscribers.
