As per the provisions of Section-8 of Information Technology Act, 2000 and in consultation with Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law & Justice, physical printing of Gazette Notifications had been dispensed with and exclusive e-publishing of the same has been started w.e.f. 01.10.2015.
In order to streamline the e-publication process of the Gazette Notifications, all Ministries / Departments / Attached / Subordinate offices are kindly requested to register a Nodal Officer and an Alternate Nodal Officer on the e-Gazette portal with a DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) and forward the contents for publication exclusively through the e-Gazette Portal. It may be noted that receiving of content through emails / hardcopies/any other means will not be accepted for publishing the Gazette notifications.
