Social media platforms are here to stay and directed voters' thoughts and views of certain government policies and respective political parties and their members. Article analyzes primarily Facebook, as it is used by millions of people as a discussion platform every single day. Secondly Twitter and also any other social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram will be discussed throughout this paper, in order to build a judgement upon how where social media platforms put to good use by all stakeholders involved; namely being; voters; politicians; thought leaders and any other people that harnessed the use of social media as a tool for discussion or cohesion of the general election.

On-line video offers opportunities that TV simply can not: individualized two-way communication, which is almost omnipresent, since it is accessible on hundreds of millions of mobile devices globally. Also, this applies to video production, which only needs a mobile device to film, edit and upload the video. The goal of the article is to provide the analyses of the publicly accessible statistical data from a free-to-use platform Social Blade. We are looking into finding correlations across different categories, upload frequencies, popularity and number of views. Our preliminary calculations are promising, we have discovered some interesting relation between total number of subscribers on a selected channel at the moment of the data fetch and average number of uploads on a selected channel per year at the moment of the data fetch, when considered independently by different channel types.
