With the contribution of Reading (Reading) and Writing (wRiting) which include recognition and visualisation, pattern formation as well as skills acquired through the use of tools such as pencil and brush, which are proven to be valuable for children's development, STREAM is now also linked to Thinking and Art in its broadest sense. Therefore, in this paper, STREAM Learning Scenarios are proposed that can be implemented within the kindergarten and primary school classroom using the BeeBot robot, highlighting its added pedagogical value and linking the theoretical framework with the playful practical implementation.

In accordance with the recommendation of the European Parliament and UNESCO, inclusive education needs to be consolidated. This paper attempts to show that a holistic approach to the Arts can be a main instrument for a pluralistic education space that responds to the wide range of diversity of children. This work is the product of research conducted by the project team of the Regional Directorate fo... more This work is the product of research conducted by the project team of the Regional Directorate for Primary and Secondary Education of Attica formed under the Erasmus+Project “RoboGirls: Empowering girls in STEAM through robotics and coding». The research has focused on identifying and investigating the factors that influence and interpret the differentiation in men and women’s participation in education and in their professional careers in the fields of STEM, but also on the selection of the best educational practices that enhance the participation of women in the STEM fields. The research has combined literature review with data analysis resulting from questionnaires and interviews of a selected focus group. The results of the research have contributed to understanding the factors that conduce to the creation of these differences, as well as the role that education can play in Greece and in the EU in bridging the gender gap in the STEM fields.

This article provides a few actions for cultivating the love of reading and the value of sharing literature with a few effective ideas to use literature to help children learn to read and write. When used sensitively by early childhood professionals it entertains and helps children develop self-awareness and understanding. Through an example of a children's picture book, ideas will be sharing about how adults can develop the kind of rich literacy environment that provides an excellent basis for learning literacy. Η μέθοδος εξοικείωσης και προσέγγισης των αρχαίων ελληνικών από τα μικρά παιδιά που παρουσιάζεται... more Η μέθοδος εξοικείωσης και προσέγγισης των αρχαίων ελληνικών από τα μικρά παιδιά που παρουσιάζεται, αποτελεί το σταθμισμένο εκπαιδευτικό υλικό από την έρευνα δράση η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε τα έτη 2015-2016 στα νηπιαγωγεία της Αττικής και είχε ως στόχο να φέρει τα παιδιά σε επαφή με τα Αρχαία Ελληνικά μέσα όμως από έναν παιγνιώδη τρόπο, ο οποίος περιελάβανε μουσική με μελοποιημένους μύθους του Αισώπου και την προστιθέμενη και μεταγνωστική αξία των Τ.Π.Ε. Τα παιδιά μέσα από το τραγούδι και τη μουσικοκινητική αγωγή και μέσα από συγκεκριμένες οπτικές και αντιληπτικές ασκήσεις στις οποίες συμμετείχαν, ήρθαν σε επαφή με τη γλώσσα των Αρχαίων Ελληνικών, την οποία ≪τραγούδησαν≫ και έπαιξαν με τη βοήθεια συγκεκριμένων εκπαιδευτικών λογισμικών αναδεικνύοντας και την προστιθέμενη αξία των ΤΠΕ.

Ωστόσο, οι επιλογές τους όσον αφορά σε ζητήματα γλώσσας, πολιτισμού, παιδαγωγικής και γονικής συμμετοχής αντικατοπτρίζουν επίσης τους κοινωνικούς λόγους, που περιστρέφονται γύρω από την τάξη τους σε σχέση με αυτά τα ζητήματα. Τα σχολεία προετοιμάζουν τους μαθητές του 21ου αιώνα σε μια πραγματικότητα που η πολιτισμική ετερότητα είναι ο κανόνας στη διεθνή και εγχώρια σκηνή; Οι εκπαιδευτικοί είναι προετοιμασμένοι για αυτή την εκπαιδευτική ετερότητα; Κατανοούν τις στάσεις, συμπεριφορές, στερεότυπα και πιθανόν προκαταλήψεις που μπορεί να έχουν και οι ίδιοι αλλά και οι μαθητές τους απέναντι σε αυτές τις μειονότητες; Μπορούν να τις αλλάξουν; Για να μπορέσουμε να κατανοήσουμε και να εξηγήσουμε πως διαμορφώνονται οι στάσεις, οι συμπεριφορές και οι προκαταλήψεις χρήσιμο είναι να αποκωδικοποιήσουμε τον τρόπο που λειτουργούν και διαμορφώνονται, τα συστατικά τους στοιχεία, καταλήγοντας κυρίως στην δυνατότητα αλλαγής τους, που είναι και το κυριότερο ζητούμενο.
