Cikarang City has contributed to the spread of industrialisation from the West Cikarang (Cibitung) area to South Cikarang. The city is known for several prominent ~~locations~~places, including MM2100 Cikarang Barat, [[Kota Jababeka]], Bekasi International Industrial Estate (BIIE), or the Hyundai Industrial Park; East Jakarta Industrial Park (EJIP), Delta Silicon Industrial Park, and Indonesia-China Integrated Industrial Zone (Kawasan Industri Terpadu Indonesia-China, KITIC).<ref>[http://www.kitic.net/en/ KITIC]</ref> Many foreign companies are located in Cikarang industrial estate from ~~locales~~countries including Singapore, USA, Germany, Korea, Japan, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, and the Middle East region. The Industrial City has attracted a plethora of different industries, including tourism, household, food, television and many more.
