Ravi Cabot-Conyers (born February 10, 2011[1]) is an American actor, starring opposite Jude Law in the upcoming Lucasfilm Ltd. series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew releasing on Disney+ in late 2024.[2] He is also appearing in the upcoming film Grassland alongside Mía Maestro, Quincy Isaiah and Jeff Kober.[3][4][5][6]

Early life

Cabot-Conyers, who appeared in his first national commercial at the age of four, grew up in an artistic household. His mother is actor and acting coach Christina Cabot, best known for playing Major Kathleen Sparr in director Louis Leterrier’s The Incredible Hulk and his grandfather is jazz musician, Joe Cabot.[7]

Career

In addition to Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, Cabot-Conyers' television work includes playing son to on-screen parents Rashida Jones and Kenya Barris on Netflix's single-camera comedy series, #blackAF.[8] The show made headlines in Summer 2024, when Barris once again stated his desire to reboot #blackAF in the form of a movie franchise.[8] Other notable small screen performances for Cabot-Conyers include a guest star turn on FOX's The Resident[9] as Jasper Barnett, and a recurring role as Leo, on CBS All Access' Tell Me a Story.[10]

In addition to Grassland, he has also starred alongside Glynn Turrman in Stephanie Turner's Justine,[11] which was acquired by Ava DuVernay's ARRAY, and aired on Netflix and played grandson to acclaimed actor Bruce Dern[12] in Tom Dolby's The Artist's Wife.

Cabot-Conyers animated resume includes voicing the character Antonio Madrigal in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 2021 multi award winning film, Encanto.[13][14] He reprised this role 2 years later in Walt Disney Animation Studios' Oscar-nominated short Once Upon a Studio,[15] and can be heard voicing characters on several television programs, among them Dee & Friends in Oz,[16] Firebuds,[17] and Get Rolling with Otis.[1]
