I have a life and do not spend my whole day online and Wiki-ing. Thus, I cannot and do not monitor what happens to my work on Wikipedia. It was only my responfing to a question about Cable London that alerted me to the article's total disappearance.
Wikipedia, and those who monitor articles, would do well to embrace good manners and decent research effort. I am quite happy not to contribute if my work is not wanted but I am certainly not prepared to have my work discarded willy nilly and my time and effort, all well intended, wasted.
