Disambiguation link notification for January 7
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Taiwanese Plains Aborigines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yam (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit to Central Intelligence Agency, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Please read WP:OVERLINKand stop unnecessary changes. Thank you. David J Johnson (talk) 10:09, 23 January 2018 (UTC)

American film stubs
editHello! Just a reminder, for American films the country stub tags should only be used as a last resort. There are over 25,000 Stub-class film articles that fall under the American cinema task force, so when adding stub articles about American films to {{WikiProject Film}}, please use a more appropriate genre stub tag on those articles, instead of the stub tags in Category:American film stubs. Thanks! Fortdj33 (talk) 14:05, 21 March 2018 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Kautilya3. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Indian Independence Act 1947, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. editBefore adding a category to an article, as you did to The Devil's Advocate (1997 film), please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 16:18, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
Wikilinking
editPlease don't go and add Wikilinks for presses such as Oxford UP. It's not necessary. No one is going to click from the reference section of an article to find the article on that press. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 16:55, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

Here is a glass of Thandai for you. Thandai is a traditional Indian cold drink prepared with a mixture of almonds, fennel seeds, watermelon kernels, rose petals, pepper, vetiver seeds, cardamom, saffron, milk and sugar. Thanks a lot for your contributions to Shivakumara Swami. I have responded to your post on the talk page. cheers. Thank you. DBigXrayᗙ 19:56, 22 January 2019 (UTC) |
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. editHello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! {{u|Sdkb}} talk 03:58, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
