𒍢 • (ze₂ /ze/) (before genitive, dative, comitative markers 𒍝 (za))
- you, thou (second-person independent personal pronoun)
- 𒍢 (ze₂ /ze/) becomes 𒍝 (za) when followed by a case marker that contains the vowel /a/, i.e. genitive /ak/, dative /ra/, or comitative case /da/.
- The final vowel /e/ becomes /ē/ before the enclitic copula, and it is often indicated by the plene spelling, e.g.:
- 𒍢𒂊𒈨 𒉺𒁽𒀀𒉌 𒃶𒈨 ― ze₂-e-me maškim-a-ne₂ ḫe₂-me /zēmen maškimane ḫēmen/ ― You yourself should be his commissioner.
