[[Mohammad Ali Bogra]] was again called to form a new government in which Commander-in-Chief of [[The Pakistan Army]], [[Ayub Khan|General Mohammad Ayub Khan]], became the Defense Minister. He was the first serving C-in-C to join the cabinet.
