Tanya Hope is an Indian film actress born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India who appears in south Indian films. Tanya started modeling and became Miss India Kolkata-2015. She was one of the finalists of Femina Miss India 2015. In the year of 2016 she debuted as Nithya[1], wife of Railway Raju an aspiring cricketer played by Sree Vishnu in a Telugu film Appatlo Okadundevadu, also starring Nara Rohit.

Early life

Tanya Hope was born and brought up in Bangalore. Her father is a businessman. She went to Sacred heart girl’s high school in Bengaluru. She pursued her graduation International relations at University of Westminster, England. She was keen to make her name in modeling, so she shifted to Pune for a professional training course. Tanya completed her training at the Tiara Training Studios. Tanya was crowned the winner of FBB Femina Miss India Kolkata 2015[2]. She heads directly into the final rounds of Femina Miss India 2015 title becoming one of the top 5 finalists.

Career

After debuting in Telugu films with Appatlo Okadundevadu in 2016, she then played the role of A.C.P. Catherine in another Telugu movie Patel S. I. R. released in 2017 starring Jagapati Babu. Though the movie did average at the box office, Tanya was recognized for her role as a corrupt cop. Tanya is currently working on her first Tamil movie Thadam, as Deepika opposite Arun Vijay directed by Magizh Thirumeni. She is one of the 3 heroines[3] along with Vidya Pradeep and Smruthi Venkat. She is playing Jessie in the long-awaited Telugu, Kannada bilingual film Home Minister starring Kannada Superstar Upendra directed by Sujay k. Srihari.[4] Her another upcoming movie is Paperboy with new actor Santosh Sobhan son of famous director Late Sobhan. As per the recent news articles, Tanya Hope is one of the heroines in Darshan’s 51st film [5], directed by Pon Kumar, will start rolling from mid-February.
