'Daryl Guppy' is best known as an author of books on stock market trading techniques and financial
columnist. This has led to him being a speaker at conferences and to making appearances on finance programs on television. He invented Guppy Multiple Moving Averages (GMMA) which is included in the Metastock and some other charting programs. He has weekly columns in TheEdge, China Daily and Shanghai Security News and the CNBC.com column – Charting Asia.
He has spoken in 27 counties and published a book on the Chinese stock market.
He lives in Darwin, Northern Territory, 3000 km from the nearest stock exchange.
