Hassel Iron Works, 1805

Hassel Iron Works (Template:Lang-no) was a mining company and iron works in Skotselv in Øvre Eiker, Norway. It was established in the 17th century and reveived a royal privilege from King Frederick III of Denmark in 1649, and existed until 1854, with some operations continuing until the 1870s. Its most important mines were located in Hassel in Modum and Barbu near Arendal.[1]
