Mazar-i-SharifKabulPeshawar railway line is a proposed rail project signed in February 2021 by Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan. It will have an estimated length of 600 km of 1,520 mm (4 ft 11+2732 in) Russian gauge track.[1][2][3][4]

In July 2023, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan signed a joint protocol to establish a rail link. The rail route is expected to pass through Termez in Uzbekistan, Mazar-i-Sharif and Logar in Afghanistan, and extend till the Kharlachi border crossing in Kurram district in northwestern Pakistan.[5]
