In its review Livemint, considers the opening stanza of the song, also called as 'mukhda' in Hindi as "Devotional", they wrote: "There is a lovely chord-change where the soft percussions kick in. This part really makes the song. It has a sublime, lingering quality that grows on you."[2]

"Komoi" in its review, highlighted the shortness of the song but acclaimed the singing of Arijit Singh and composition of Pritam. It also wrote, that Arijit had done a good job but Pritam's music impress more.[3]
