Career
He started his career as an actor with Mahesh Bhatt’s television soap Swabhimaan. He has also worked with directors like Deepti Naval and Late Bharat Rangachari. Playing negative roles on the small screen has been his forte and his biggest turning point came when Ekta Kapoor offered him a role in the serial Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. He was also one of the popular contestants in a dance reality show Nach Baliye,Rajev has worked in various TV serials. He participated in Nach Baliye, a reality dance show with his ex. wife, Delnaaz Paul. He is best known for his negative role in Balaji’s daily soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.

He was a contestant in the Bigg Boss 6. He was evicted from the house just before the grand finale after completing 96 days in the house.[1]

Personal life
Rajeev first met TV actor, Delnaaz Paul on the sets of Parivartan, a popular soap in 1993. After 14 long years of married life the couple parted their ways in 2010 and eventually got divorced in 2012.[3] Delnaaz cited infidelity on Rajev's part as the cause for the divorce, however, Rajeev did not agree to the allegation.[3][4]
