[edit]Hey, is there any evidence that the bass player for Trapeze was named Pete Wright in the first place? Or that such a band even existed? I know that you've checked up on Michael a lot, but I want to make sure that I'm not spreading some misinformation of his that has managed to slip through. (A reply on Talk:Trapeze (band) would probably be ideal.) Thanks! -- Toby Bartels 01:08, 8 Sep 2003 (UTC)
- Hi Toby, yes there was a band called Trapeze AFAIK, but the Pete Wright who played bass for them was NOT the same one who played for Crass, even though it says this on some external website that Michael directed to, Whoever put that website together obviously didn't research properly. The Crass Pete Wright was previously in 'some folk band' that nobody could remember the name of that never made any records and only did a couple of small time gigs. My source is two ex-members of Crass who I know well. Cheers quercus robur 15:26, 9 Sep 2003 (EDT)
- Footnote number one: allmusic.com says the two Pete Wrights are the same - allmusic.com is full of errors of this nature. I've written to them about several, but they never seem to get fixed. They want to have a go at this wiki business...
- Footnote number two: Trapeze also had a Dave Holland among their number. This is no more the jazz bassist than Pete Wright is the ex-Crass memeber ;)
- Footnote number three: the original contents of this page seem to have got moved to Trapeze/Crass by Michael. I've moved it back. --Camembert
- I've fixed the link to Dave Holland, the drummer, and edited your comment accordingly, Camembert. I hope you don't mind. --Robert Turner 16:53, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Dead armadillos.jpg
[edit]Image:Dead armadillos.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:35, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
