The Bio-star
Gricharduk, Thank you for the article about Jane Ingham. Not only did it hone my review skills, I learned about a fascinating woman biologist and got to work with a responsive and intelligent nominator. You took this article from non-existent to GA this year, which is an amazing feat! Great job, and I hope we get to work together again. Eewilson (talk) 07:27, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Eewilson, Thank you very much and what a lovely person you are. None of the above would have been possible without your thorough review, editing, advice, and hard work. I consider you joint author of the article as you improved it so much during the review. It has been a joy to work with you and you have taught me so much over the last week. Wikipedia is very lucky to have you. Have a great day, Gricharduk (talk) 08:41, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Grichard, Thank you! I will take a bit of credit, but you have been the one who took on this project and ran with it. You are now the Tupper-Carey expert. I only know the bare minimum! Eewilson (talk) 08:45, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Topicons"

[edit]

Hi, Gricharduk! Did you know that you can put a topicon on your userpage for each of your good articles, DYKs, and featured articles? Just a nice little way to reward yourself and brag a bit. See Template:GA user topicon, Template:DYK user topicon, and Template:FA user topicon. —Eewilson (talk) 07:39, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Eewilson Thank you very much. No, I did not know about this template (there is so much I don't know) so I am going to add this to my userpage. Gricharduk (talk) 08:36, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

TFA blurb quick review

[edit]

Hi, Gricharduk! Symphyotrichum lateriflorum has achieved FA status, and I have nominated it to be on the main page in a Today's Featured Article. A few people need to read the blurb and make suggestions if needed, and Support or Oppose, whichever applies. Would you be willing to take a look at the blurb, make any suggestions, comment if you have any, etc.? It is at this link: Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/Symphyotrichum lateriflorum. Eewilson (talk) 05:27, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Morning Eewilson, of course! I will take a look now (it's a fantastic article). Sorry for my recent lack of communication, my current work project is getting in the way of what I love most - editing here :) I hope you are well, Gricharduk (talk) 05:45, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! Internet outages are affecting me. Random cable modem/router reboots that began on Tuesday when Comcast, our ISP, had an outage in various areas across the nation. I suspect they are sending out packets that my "older" modem doesn't like. It's very annoying. :) Eewilson (talk) 07:35, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
