Hello from Peaceray
Hi Nevet Basker,
I am indeed in the Puget Sound area. In fact, we will be having a meetup in a week's time. I hope you do not mind; I added you to Wikipedia:Meetup/Seattle/Invitees#Users so that you would get the notice for it.
With regard to that unnecessarily snarky
response at Wikipedia:Bot requests (diff), well, that editor probably assumed you were an experienced editor as you were making a Bot request, which is not something that most newbies would be aware of. I believe that most editors are acting in good faith, but we do have some that are brusque. I hope that future encounters are more encouraging, friendly, & collaborative, even if it does take all sorts to build an encyclopedia. Peaceray (talk) 04:33, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
