La Voix is a Quebec, Canadda reality talent show based on the original Dutch version of the program created by John de Mol. The first Quebec season premiered on the TVA on 20 January 2013 featuring Marc Dupré, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Marie-Mai and Ariane Moffatt as the coaches. The Quebec series is created by Stéphane Laporte and hosted by Charles Lafortune.

Format

The series is part of the The Voice franchise and is based on a similar competition format in The Netherlands entitled The Voice of Holland. The series is structured as three phases: blind auditions, battle rounds and live performance shows.
