Gulebakavali is an upcoming Tamil action comedy film, written and directed by Kalyaan S and produced by KJR Studios. Prabhu Deva and Hansika Motwani are playing the lead pair in this movie with veteran actress Revathi playing a supporting role. A song has been shot in Chennai with an estimated budget of 2 crores featuring the lead pair. [1][2][3][4]
Gulebakavali begins from where the 1955 film of the same name ended. Kalyaan has devised a special flashback sequence to connect the two films.[5]

Production
Though Prabhu Deva was the one who introduced Hansika Motwani in Tamil film industry through his directorial project Engeyum Kadhal, Gulebagaavali is the first film were these two artists are pairing onscreen. Writer director Kalyaan's previous project was Kadha Solla Porom. The music duo Vivek–Mervin is composing music,editing by Vijay Velukutty and Anand Kumar is handling cinematography.[6] even before the completion of shooting, Sun TV has acquired the satellite rights of this movie.[7] The team is planning for theatrical release for festive occasion of Diwali 2017.[8][9]
