Alvor Estuary Causeway

[edit]

The causeway from the oyster farm has been deteriorating for at least 10 years. It is now almost impassable. Many people use this path to gain access to the estuary beach for Kite surfing and beyond to the end of the Meia Praia beach and the entrance to the estuary. Does anyone know if there are plans to restore this path both for the safety of the people who use it and for the changes the breaks in it are causing at very high tides to the marshland areas at the western end of the lagoon.
