1st paragraph, statement about Mormon use of the term.

[edit]

Mormons do NOT call "outsiders" (referred to by Mormons as "non-members") gentiles, (Mormons do not even use the term "outsiders," by the way.) nor do they ever refer to Jews and other tribes of Israel as gentiles. However, Mormons believe all gentiles, including themselves (before baptism), can be adopted into the House of Israel through baptism into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. See Mormon Doctrine, Bruce R. McConkie, "Gentile." Your reference is simply a letter to the editor! 2601:681:5A00:EF30:28FD:4168:93A:3E76 (talk) 18:04, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The LDS church website is also cited. And the letter is published in one of the most prestigious academia journals. Atrapalhado (talk) 22:36, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Israelites

[edit]

Through DNA analysis it's been confirmed that certain eastern north American tribes do have the H1 genotype only found in the middle east specifically the Carthage area. Israel Judaism was looking for a lost part of a fall ritual dance they do that their ancestors had taken and moved away with. The Cherokee have a fall ritual as well. It was exactly the same as the Jewish fall ritual except one thing, they had the completed fall ritual performance. Israel has recognized them as their own and given them land in Israel. The Israelites are the native Americans. The gentiles are the white people who came an conquered the natives. Those who want to be saved can be baptized and become one with the Israelites. Our job as gentiles is to fix the mess we made by coming over here and destroying their world and lives. Mormons are to help the native Americans rebuild America. I think a little bit more unbias research could do everyone some good. 174.29.101.137 (talk) 14:50, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
