I've completely reworked the article on Katie Holmes and have posted it on WP:PR in the hopes of advancing it to WP:FAC. I would be grateful for your comments at Wikipedia:Peer review/Katie Holmes/archive1. PedanticallySpeaking 19:02, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Plot Summary

[edit]

I think the plot summary needs a little work, the whole dinner with police officer thing, and the Las Vegas story is left out. If someone wants I can do a little work on that mo'fo.

please do, this summary is utterly incomplete
Yeah, I don't remember the film enough to help, but there was a huge plot section in Vegas involving the Simon and the character played by Taye Diggs. Then there was the Amway-ish thing with the cop and his wife. Finally, Ronna wakes up in the ditch at the end, doesn't she? I vaguely remember her going back to work and the supermarket, and her and Claire retrieving Mannie from where they left him. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.220.150.201 (talk) 06:10, 5 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Budget

[edit]

There is contradictory information in this article regarding the budget for the film. Was it $6.5 million or $20 million? Can someone find out and correct? Iamvered 18:12, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Special Edition

[edit]

It'd be nice to get some info about the special Edition of this movie -NeF (talk) 10:12, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plot details

[edit]

A tag complained of the plot being too long or with too many details, so I trimmed it up some. If you're feeling more ruthless than I was, go 'head and snip more... I'm sure there are many spots where it'll help. — HarringtonSmith (talk) 09:50, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plot length

[edit]

WP:FILMPLOT advises plot summary should be 400 to 700 words unless…

  • unconventional structure
  • non-linear storylines
  • complicated

Go may not be overly "complicated" but is fairly complex and packs in a whole lotta story with its unconventional, non-linear structure. It's clearly 21/2 of the exceptions.

I have trimmed the plot from 913 words to 736 mostly through concision but I cut into a little of the meat by excising the credit card and food poisoning. I also added a little with the car chase which wasn't mentioned but is more integral. Given that so much happens in this movie —- it's almost 3-in-1 —- I suggest that while improvements may be made there is little point in trying to squish the plot summary much further. I have removed the "long plot" template. Captainllama (talk) 23:45, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
