Conflict of interest

I would like to publish this page about Merijn Tinga, the Dutch Plastic Soup Surfer on the English Wikipedia. The page allready exists on Dutch Wikipedia. Ik wrote most of the content of the Dutch page.

There is a conflict of interest. I help Merijn Tinga as a volunteer. I am responsible for the website www.plasticsoupsurefer.org. I wrote most of the content. I don't get paid for this. I discussed this conflict of interest with Dutch wikipadia volunteers, especially a person called 'Encycloon'. His comments helped me writing an objective article with lots of references.

The main reason for writing this English article is that Merijn Tinga will and his work as the Plastic Soup Surfer get more attention by international media. Probably by the end of July (31) CNN will broadcast a documentary about the way he fights against plastic pollution and the plastic soup.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ben Vroom (talk • contribs)

@Ben Vroom: Thanks for the above. Please disclose your COI on your user page if possible, see WP:COI. Also, note that Dutch Wikipedia and English Wikipedia have separate policies, so the advice from one side often does not match the reality on the other side. References 6 - 34 enriched

I finished enriching all references from 6 to the last one by using the Ref toolbar (web citations). I don't know how to make changes in references 1 - 5, they could use some extra information too as far as I can see.
