‘Tis yet another example of Wikipedia’s USian viewpoint. Pimento outside the US is the pepper

lead section contradicts itself

The lead sentence is A pimiento (Spanish pronunciation: [piˈmjento]) or pimento is any kind of pepper. and then two paras later we say The flesh of the pimiento is sweet, succulent, and more aromatic than that of the red bell pepper. It is not a chilli but a pepper
