Surprise! Ron Diamond

[edit]

While I was dithering about how to move the draft over the existing redirect, Graham87 went ahead and moved it to article space (and I assume he deleted the redirect). Just to let you know, it's okay to just make a perfunctory edit to a draft that goes unedited for a while. The clock gets reset even if you just make a single edit. Once when I hosted an edit-a-thon for the Wikipedia:WikiProject Women artists, I created about 50 drafts that participants worked on during the day-long session, but very few were ready for article space. So I made a series of single edits to each one until I finally was able to move each one to article space...took about 18 months to finally finish that list. My point: As long as you have some time invested in a draft, it's okay to nurse it along with trivial edits every so often to keep the draft alive until you get back to it. − Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 04:30, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Bonjour, Grand'mere! This has been the best surprise I've had in a long time. I'm glad to read it's ok to let an article sit. Sadly, I deleted a couple in my wiki travels, but won't do that again. If there is anything you ever need of me, don't hesitate to ask! GreenBlueGreen (talk) 01:14, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Huntly Plantz

[edit]

Hi! I moved Huntly Plantz to Draft:Huntly Plantz because it isn't ready for mainspace. Once you add more reliable sources to help meet WP:BLP, you can submit the article for review. Thanks! BuySomeApples (talk) 04:31, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to List of American current child actors. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 16:33, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. The slumber Party is one Huntly was in though so I guess you may want to remove it too. 72.185.67.205 (talk) 17:20, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
