Excellent. Unfortunately I'm a complete novice with this sort of thing, so I may have to play more of a supporting role for the time being. However, this seems like a really good project as many people are looking to get their userpages improved. Thanks for participating, and it's good to have someone experienced with userpages on board. Best, PeterSymonds (talk) 12:49, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Userpage

If you could fix one more thing, that'd be great. The bottom box on the page is a little wider than the top two. If you could make the three boxes line up, then I think it'd be finished. Thanks. Useight (talk) 15:05, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

What I mean is that the header and the section with my brief bio line up in width, while the portion with everything else (stuff, associates, userboxes) is a little bit wider. Useight (talk) 00:07, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
I think I'll tweak it a bit more, but it's looking pretty good. Useight (talk) 01:35, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

AFD

I left a response for you at Steve's talk page regarding your AFD question. Wasn't sure where you wanted the response at. Useight (talk) 03:38, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you for your kindness. It has not gone un-noticed. Happy editing! OcatecirT 04:36, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Closing AfD's early

Please don't close AfD discussions before five days, especially given your history of lack of discretion. I see this has been a recurring problem: [1] [2] [3]. Daniel (talk) 05:40, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

User:Useight, User:Steve Crossin and me have already discussed this. Please see User talk:Steve Crossin for what we have discussed and planned. Thank you. RyRy5 (talk) 05:45, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
User:Travellingcari and User:MBisanz have agreed that the close you just reverted was decided to let it be. -- RyRy5 (talk) 05:49, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
They can close it, then. Not you. Daniel (talk) 06:26, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Clarification, I didn't decide it should be closed early. I !voted keep since that was my opinion and advised MBisanz of the early close since he had nominated it and wanted his input on whether it should be re-opened. He accepted the forecast of snow. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 01:45, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Okay. Thanks for alerting me about all this. I appreciate it. Best, RyRy5 (talk) 06:30, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
I'll just chime in here, as well, and suggest that you ease into closing AFDs by sticking to five-day-old ones for a little while. Useight (talk) 00:42, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you, Useight. I'll stick with 5 day-old AfDs for now.--RyRy5 (talk) 00:43, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
That was a surprisingly fast response for having a status of "offline" on your userpage. Useight (talk) 00:48, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'm still busy with some stuff. I was going to update that soon. But thanks for reminding me. --RyRy5 (talk) 00:50, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

User page redesign request

hello. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind redesigning my user page. I would like a model very similar to User:VanTucky- if possible with a predominately black background with white text and violet or royal blue accents. Thankyou in advance! The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 09:52, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Me too. Same as VanTucky, without the sandbox and gallery links, in a red and green color scheme, please. Remember me? I had a 2nd chance as well. Shapiros10 Came Back! 19:34, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, his formatting looks complicated. But sure, why not. I'l try my best. It will generally take me a few days to renovate. I have a few requestsalready but I can handle. Regards, RyRy5 (talk) 23:49, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Yay! I like it. Thankyou. My only concern is I don't like seeing the userboxes out to the side by themselves. Any way to just merge them into the other sections? like above "Wikipedia Contributions?" The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 21:42, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
One more thing...is it possible to put the wikipedia Good Article contribution boxes inside their own square? similar to how "this is a wikipedia user page" is incased in its own box? Could the same be done for all the userboxes? I tried doing it myself, but yeah...that was horrible. Thanks so much by the way! The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 03:17, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, its fine. Thanks for the help! The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 04:29, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

GA

I was looking at a bunch of random pages, and I saw helping GA articles is a good thing in terms of helping. So, I was wondering if copyeditors could nominate articles. I believe my cleanup of Larry Jennings was great, as the article was in serious need of help. Also, if I can nominate, would there be any advice on something I should change or add to the article? Just wondering...--LAAFan 22:49, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

The Resilient Barnstar
You've earned this! You've ran into nothing but trouble, including many incidents that should hae "ended your time here" but you keep bouncing back, and you seem to be willing to impove your editing and contributions. For that, I award you this barnstar!~ Keep up the good work! Keeper
Thank you, Keeper. I have ran into many incidents in my editing, but I will not leave just because of that. Contributing to wikipedia is hard sometimes, true. But this is a great place to be. I'm doing my best to contribute correctly here and if I do contribute incorrectly, I won't leave, and I will do my bestto learn from it while trying to avoid it. Thanks again. Reverts.

They seem to be fine (except for the couple of popups errors); good work. :) · AndonicO Engage. 02:52, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank for checking those. Yeah, there were some popup errors. Sometimes, popups are not in time when reverting and someone else reverts. When that happens, popups gets confused and it just proceeds with the reverting process. Any comments for what I should do here? --RyRy5 (talk) 02:56, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, no, not really; can't be helped. It's a software bug that probably can't be fixed (actually, it was never an issue at all until huggle came along). I've never tried Twinkle, but maybe that's faster, thus reducing the chances of a "non-conflicting edit conflict." Or use rollback, if you have it. · AndonicO Engage. 03:01, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, Andonic0 for the advice, but I think I will just stick to popups and revert any mistake it makes. It doesn't happen all the time, just on occasions. Thank you again. -- RyRy5 (talk) 03:03, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
You're welcome. Cheers, · AndonicO Engage. 03:30, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Subpages

All of these pages can be deleted, too. The last two redirect to my Userpage. The new sig is under User:The SRS/Signature2 (DO NOT DELETE!), but is temporarily retired.

RE:Siggys

To be perfectly honest, I'm not 100% sure as to why the community forbid the links in signatures. Until now I've been satisfied just knowing that it did. Perhaps iridescent could provide you an answer. Cheers RyRy, -The Hybrid- 04:14, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

See here guys. It's considered disruptive. Not disruptive in an oh-my-god-we-must-stop-this sense, but autograph pages aren't encouraged in the first place (they do nothing to add the the project, they have elements of social networking in them), and linking them in a sig is unnecesary and unhelpful. Sig links should generally be to userpage, user talk, maybe contribs, something related to making an encyclopedia and working with others. Gwynand | TalkContribs 12:28, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry for getting back to you so long after you asked the question, I just woke up. As for you !vote there, I think you did well. RE: My signature

Hi there, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I had no idea something like WP:SIG even existed. Although I will withdraw it from my signature for now, i'm not entirely sure I need to as the policy states:

"Do not place any disruptive internal links, such as <super>[SIGN HERE!!!</super>, which refers to an autograph page."

This seems to imply more to the capital letters and exclamation marks rather than the nature of the 'Sign' itself. But I don't know this policy well enough to argue my point so i've removed it. Regards, CycloneNimrodTalk? 00:07, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Fair enough. Who am I to argue with consensus, eh? ;) Thanks for informing me. Happy editing. Regards, CycloneNimrodTalk? 00:12, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

goodbye

i have retired. tell everyone.RetiringReallySoon 00:36, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

You'll find that the project itself, is somewhat defunct, however there are many articles that need to be maintained. That's why I joined it. A lot of vandalism occurs on Pokémon-related pages, and as a die-hard Nintendo fan, I can't just stand around while that happens. In fact, the reason I took so long to respond to your comment was because I was dealing with a big edit war on Ash Ketchum. Anyway, I'd recommend, as a project member, to put some of the articles on your watchlist as a good starting point. Useight (talk) 01:10, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

On my watchlist I have: Ash Ketchum, Brock (Pokémon), List of Pokémon, List of Pokémon characters, Meowth, Pikachu, Pokédex, Pokémon, and a few of the specific Pokémon games. I've never actually played any games in the Pokémon series, but if I had a Nintendo DS, I'd have to give one a try, seeing how it is the second best selling franchise of all time. Useight (talk) 01:19, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
That's the funny thing about Pokémon these days. Just like eating at McDonald's, nobody will admit they like it. You used the term "semi-former fan" and I use "Nintendo fan"; I just listened to the Team Rocket theme song earlier today. I think there are more fans out there than it seems. Removal of a Talk Page Comment

Hello! I saw that you undid a comment on the Red Sox Talk Page, diff. I almost reverted. Although it was spam, I feel that you shouldn't undo people's comments unless they are offensive.

And you definitely should NOT REMOVE comments for simply being POV. That's not right. But this is more like spam, so I didn't revert. Just letting you know about removing POV comments on talk pages; I wouldn't. Beam 01:58, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for notifying me about that. In the edit summary, I meant to use "Spam" instead if "POV". Sometimes they are very similar to each other. I assume saying "I love Jacoby Ellsbury" is a spam edit. --RyRy5 (talk) 02:01, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
Spam? What service does it advertise? The reason to take such a comment off a talk page is that it's not focused on improving the article which is the purpose of talk pages. Metros (talk) 02:07, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
I do agree with Metros, rethinking if it was a spam edit. Adding "I love Jacoby Ellsbusry" to an article's talk page is not discussing how to improve the article at all. Regards, RyRy5 (talk) 02:11, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
(edit conflict) I believe you can remove spam, blatant vandalism, and unrelated conversation (as this particular edit was) from an article talk page. I endorse his removal of that comment, even though he did get the reason wrong in the edit summary. Useight (talk) 02:15, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

(nodent)I love the many responses, what a popular guy you are RyRy! As I said in my comment, it was because of the POV statement obviously. I agree with the removal, as well as removing spam. But to remove a comment based on POV is rediculous. I don't think that should ever take place. Beam 02:26, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Oh, and happy birthday. Useight (talk) 06:05, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, I see a lot of people responded to your question on my talk page and they pretty much covered everything. ArbCom ruling is, generally, the only way to be desysopped (and due to this difficult procedure many discussions have been had on "fixing" the RFA process). Some of the things that will likely lead to an involuntary loss of adminship are, as mentioned before, deleting the main page; legal threats; extreme wheel waring, vandalism, or edit warring; perhaps for blocking Jimbo, but you might just get a stern warning for that one. Again, take a look at WP:DESYSOP for a list of the specific cases. Useight (talk) 07:55, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

I replied to your question on Steve's talk page. And, no, wasn't really asking about the lateness of your editing in order to get a reason, but more to express my surprise, usually by this time most of the North America-based editors have stopped editing. And I'm up this late because I starting watching a movie at 11:45 PM. Useight (talk) 08:24, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Warnings

I think a {{subst:uw-vandalism2|Camp Rock}} would be better than a test warning. I think testing usually goes to edits like "Hello, can you see this?", "Does this work?" or "I'm editing Wikipedia." I'd say use a regular vandalism warning on this particular one. Useight (talk) 19:05, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

My username

Ah, the pronounciation of my username. Its origin is actually from 9 or 10 years ago. You mentioned "Use-Sight" as a possibility, and that's what my roommate calls me sometimes, but it is in fact, incorrect. Iridescent brought up "You-ess-eight", which is also feasible, but also incorrect. The username of Useight actually originates from when my parents got their first Internet connection, oh so long ago, as I mentioned above. Unfortunately that connection was dialup, and AOL, no less (they've since moved on to Qwest DSL, so they're doing better now). Anyway, when they got AOL, they needed a username. After some thinking, they settled on Useight. This was due to their being 8 people in the house (both of them and their six children, of which I am the oldest). They thought, "Well, there's eight of us" and the username pronounced "Us-eight" was born. They have since had another child and have moved on from AOL, and "Useight" is now only used by me. Useight (talk) 19:56, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Help desk

Not sure if you've been told this before, but use of resolved templates on the help desk is under debate here. As you're one of the people who use it most, I suggest you read the discussion, and comment, if you haven't already. Calvin 1998 (t-c) 21:43, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

I read part of it. I can't really see what's the problem. Is it the size of the template? When and when not to use it? Do you mind summarizing the debate? Also, did I do something wrong that made you send this message? I'm just curious. -- RyRy5 (talk) 21:52, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
  1. Sometimes the template is placed when the question, in fact, is not answered correctly.
  2. People are doing edits just to place the template on the page (that's you, by the way). That's the server thing in the discussion.
  3. Some people just plain don't like the idea of the template, they think it's distracting/disrespectful/whatever.
  4. There are more, but I seriously don't remember them...
I believe the consensus is to let the discussion go for 5 days (meaning it'll end in about 1.5 hours...) and then modify the instructions and/or post a notice on the header of the help desk notifying answerers that it is not to be used anymore. Calvin 1998 (t-c) 22:33, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
I undersatnd that. But for #2, is that bad just to edit a post as resolved? -- RyRy5 (talk) 22:36, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Reading the discussion, the supporters of discontinuing the template think it hogs server space when you edit a post just to mark it as resolved. I'm personally neutral on the topic, so you'll have to read the discussion... Calvin 1998 (t-c) 22:40, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Alright. Thanks, Clavin. -- RyRy5 (talk) 22:42, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Renovate away! Try to avoid anything that makes it harder to read -- I can do clutter myself, and I lean toward larger rather than smaller typefaces, and simpler rather than more ornate fonts. Thanks, and have fun! --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 22:46, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Is there any specifics you would like besides the ones mentioned above? -- RyRy5 (talk) 22:49, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Not really; once a design is in place, tweaking it is easy enough. (I'm good at implementing other people's aesthetics; I'm not very good at coming up with my own.) My usual rule is "trust the artist" when someone's creating something for me. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 23:33, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

The more I look at the more bland I think it is. Do you think you could come up with something original- that makes it look dark and mysterious? If not, its cool. I hope I'm not monopolizing your time on wikipedia. Happy editing! The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 04:03, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Erm, I'm currently busy with my current requests. I don't know if I can get back to you. I may make some changes, but I'm going to be really busy. I apologize if I don't get to you. Best, RyRy5 (talk) 05:54, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
No problem at all. Its not urgent or anything. The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 05:55, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
I know. But I'll try, if I have the time, to just make a few changes if possible. I appreciate your understanding. Thanks, RyRy5 (talk) 06:01, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Userpage.

I'm honored. :) It's actually the same as a portal design; I'll have it for you in a sub-page of mine (roughly) by the time you wake up... or once I remember how this works, anyway. :P · AndonicO Engage. 09:08, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

My apologies; I just woke up actually (and we're in the same timezone...). · AndonicO Engage. 09:13, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I always had the impression you were from Massachusetts. The page is located here; it'll be a challenge moving it over to Wikirights, though, since I'll have to create all the templates... · AndonicO Engage. 09:23, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Created; I'm AndonicO over there, as well. · AndonicO Engage. 09:31, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. :) I'm having trouble with the templates when I copy/paste over there. I'll try to do it with raw text. Also, I'm sorry, but I've got to go; I'll be back in a while. · AndonicO Engage. 09:44, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

RFA

You said when I first met you that you would RFA in June. Just to let you know, I'll co-nom you with anyone else (jj137, Steve Crossin, MFC). Shapiros10 WuzHere  12:53, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
That was quite a while ago. I'm still in my adoption you know. If I tried an RfA today, it would get a few supports (my guess) and a lot more opposes. I'll wait till December. Thanks anyway, Sam. Also, is it okay if I left your user page the way it is. It looks good actually. --RyRy5 (talk) 13:20, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Okay. That's fine. ust let me know when you do. Once again, I will be extremely happy to co-nom you. Yes, you can leave my userpage as it is. And you have a couple new messages (and a block) at the test wiki. LOL! Shapiros10 WuzHere  13:39, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Okay then. Do you mind making an account at the wiki I created?--RyRy5 (talk) 13:49, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

GIGANTIC HUGELY MAJOR REQUEST

Hi Ry Ry.

I noticed you do a lot of graphics type stuff, and have been helping users with their user pages all over the place.

I'm very impressed with your level of commitment.

I was wondering if you would help me.

I need at least 3 awards (designed and completed) for an upcoming collaboration/competition that I will be co-coordinating at the WP:AWC July 15th. I've had some help, but we started 3 weeks ago, and we still don't even have a single award completed!

This will be the biggest collaboration I've ever co-coordinated. Bigger than the Welcoming Committee overhaul, bigger than the Tip of the day project, bigger than the Help system redesign, and even bigger than the Main Page Redesign! This collaboration's goal is the development of over 200 key pages, and so I'm expecting this will be a huge event and exciting contest.

So it is critical that the contest have very impressive awards...

I need to find someone who is interested in using the GIMP. It's a free paint/graphics/photoshop-type program that supports building images in layers and (in addition to supporting the usual graphics file formats) it has its own layer-based file format, which is invaluable for supporting collaborative artwork. All the awards will have multiple images combined (one per layer), etc., the images are supplied by different people, and more than one person needs to be able to work on the multi-layer version of the image.

I've been learning how to use the GIMP, and it's fun (it's a kick ass program).

But July 15th is approaching fast, and I'm afraid these awards won't be finished in time.

I need your help to develop the images that will be displayed in these awards.

The awards will all be geography-related non-barnstar awards.

The first one is nearly complete, but I'm having trouble with it.

Here's what has been done so far...

I liked the globe in stand of the interlingual barnstar award, but the barnstar made the globe unusuable:

File:Interlingual Barnstar.png

So I stripped out the globe and barnstar, to get this:

File:Globe stand.png

I needed a transparent background, and all that took was to add a transparent layer, then select and erase the original background so the transparent background is all that was left:

File:Globe stand with transparent background.png

I then found a picture of Earth in this screen capture from NASA's Worldwind program:

I carefully drew a thick red ring around the Earth, blacked out (painted black over) everything outside the red ring, then made the black transparent, followed by making the red transparent, leaving just the globe.

The GIMP supports layering, scaling, and positioning, which makes it easy to add components, so I added the blue marble to the globe stand to get this...

File:Blue Marble in stand.png

Then I took this:

And added an alpha layer (1st transparent layer) to it and then removed the white surrounding the globe (leaving just the transparent background), removed the black, changed the white to black, and touched it up by erasing bits here and there, and adding a couple lines. Then I pasted the whole thing into the above image as a new layer, positioned it over the Blue Marble and underneath the rim of the globe stand and reduced the layer's opacity by a little over half. I also isolated the shadow and moved it to its own layer (so it can be easily altered), and I enlarged the canvas to accomodate the addition of another element (see below).

File:Blue Marble Puzzle Globe in stand.png

Now it needs a passport, laying on the same surface that the stand is resting on, while retaining the shadow. The words on the passport need to be readable.

Here's a passport I designed with a little help:

It needs to be added as a layer to the GIMP xcf file, underneath the shadow. Then the scaling, perspecitive, and rotation tools need to be applied to shrink and position it so that it is laying flat underneath the globe stand, at an attractive angle.

I'm not sure if recreating the passport from scratch would be necessary or not (the problem is that it's already at an angle which makes adjusting perspective difficult, and also the words might not be visible enough, and its right edge is a bit jagged).

Then the shadow will need to be adjusted to look right on top of the passport, and on whatever background is selected for the award. It'll be a multi-rank award, so I'm not sure yet what background or backgrounds will be used.

My question is, would you like to work on this project?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

July 15th is approaching fast, and I have two other awards I need to get started on (a medal, and a trophy).

You're good at this type of stuff, and so I believe you'll take to the GIMP like a fish takes to water.

Heeeeeeeelp!

I look forward to your reply with great anticipation.

The Transhumanist 23:32, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

That's a long message. I'm sorry to say, but I have absolutely no experience in images. I have never uploaded an image, edited an image, or had anything to do with images, basically. I'm very experienced in user pages but, well, I'm not very good at images. Sorry, for the inconvenience. The only person I know who is good with images is User:Milk's Favorite Cookie. -- RyRy5 (talk) 23:40, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
My guess was that you have no experience in images. But that's why I'm asking you. You won't be bringing any preconceptions to the project. And I thought you might jump at a chance to get some experience in image artwork. By the way, before I did all of the above, I had never used the GIMP before. About the most I've done in image work before this is a few scribbles in a paint program. It's been wild learning GIMP, but I only have two hands. I thought you might find this a fun and challenging project.
If you'd like to tinker with it, let me know, and I'll send you the multi-layered xcf file. After all, we have six weeks left. That should give plenty of time.
With the amount of page layout stuff you do, I bet you'll love being able to create images. (It's easier than it looks).
The Transhumanist 00:20, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I'm going to jump in here (I still have Ryry's talkpage watchlisted from a previous conversation) with a comment you probably won't like. While I don't know what your project is, I assume from the imagery that you're trying to signify internationalism - in that case, I'd suggest ditching the passport image. While that is indeed what US passports look like, that's only what US & Mexican passports look like; passports from the rest of the world look totally different - generally a bright-coloured booklet with the country's name and in the case of European countries, the words "European Union" in the appropriate language. (There's a fairly representative sample here.) Since WP already has a (fairly well deserved) reputation for US bias, using a US passport as the basis may send out the wrong signal.iridescent 00:06, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
The more the merrier! As long as the end result is impressive, and the passport is obviously a passport, I'm fine with it. What do you suggest the passport should look like? (What should it say, what color would you suggest, and what embellishments should it have?) The Transhumanist 00:20, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Not knowing exactly what it's to signify, I can't comment very much - if I were designing a general WP passport, I'd probably start with something like the Italian passport cover; it's brightly coloured, it's obviously a passport of some sort, and the round crest is easily replaced by the round WP logo without the need for airbrushing. Or maybe an "open passport" image (eg, the visa page), with "passport stamps" in the shape of the different WMF logos? (That might be confusing as not immediately recognisable, although it could be propped open with the cover visible - but that sounds like work to make.) Or how about a suitcase with "travel stickers" in the names of whatever it is you're going to be doing?iridescent 01:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

WikiRights

I have commented on your talk page there. Useight (talk) 02:55, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi RyRy... I've noticed you on quite a few user talk pages asking for people to check out the wiki. I can understand the excitement of creating a web page, but I don't exactly suggest asking everyone to post their opinion. Hope you understand, Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 02:58, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Basketball? I thought you retired. Well, I only asked two users. One I just asked for his opinion, the other I needed help with something. I know, I was really only going to ask 2 or 3 people. So, what are you doing here? --RyRy5 (talk) 03:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'm on a very long WikiBreak, but I decided to see what Wikipedia was doing for an hour or so. Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 03:04, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'm glad to hear your not retiring fully. (nonwikipedia related) BTW, you missed my birthday. If you look at archive 14, there's a lot of "happy birthday" messages. --RyRy5 (talk) 03:07, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Well, happy birthday. Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 03:08, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Great, more cake... Thanks. :) Well, can I speak to you on IRC? If you don't have one, go to User:RyRy5/Sandbox. The directions are at the top. -- RyRy5 (talk) 03:10, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I don't have an IRC client, but what do I do to/at your sandbox? Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 03:11, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

First, create an account on Mibbit. After that, when you're on the Mibbit home page, follow/do these images. They will help. This image first, and then this one except you instead use your user name. Tell me if you have any problems or if your on Mabbit.--RyRy5 (talk) 03:14, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Although that would take care of quite a few things in future, I'm afraid I can't at the moment. Was it something important? Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 03:18, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Yes, and no. It wasn't too important. --RyRy5 (talk) 03:20, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
What you can do it email my friend and I'll call her and we'll go from there... yes? Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 03:23, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
No, it's okay until next time. --RyRy5 (talk) 03:25, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Fine by me, but "next time" may not be until August. Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 03:31, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
