Question from Avemalakoff (13:15, 5 October 2024)

[edit]

Hello: Thanks for your help. There is a new book on the mystery about the Man in the Iron Mask written by me, Sarah Madry, M.Ed. On the Wikipedia page on this topic there is a list of books about this topic. I would like to have my book listed on the list. Since the editors investigate, quite normally and appropriately, the level of accuracy and seriousness of authors and material that appear on Wikipedia (I depend upon you to do that as a regular user of Wikipedia - thank you), I wrote to another editor who responded to me about adding my book to the list about the depth of my research and the new paths covered on the subject. I think that was interpreted as a promotion of my book that I intended to put on the Wikipedia page. I don't want to promote my book, unless putting the book on the list of other books, is promotion. I wanted to show the editor that my book is a serious work that offers dependable new material. I am sorry if that was the wrong thing to do. I have never done this before and I didn't know I was not supposed to do this. I apologize. I hope Wikipedia will be able to list my book as a book on this topic.
