University of Utah

[edit]

Hey. The J. Willard Marriott Library could use one of the photos from your photo page. Also, do you happen to have a list of the resources you used to make additions to the University of Utah page? I noticed your name in the history quite a bit. If you pass them along, I can work on adding them to the article. Since I assume you added a lot of the College of Engineering stuff, would you mind if I moved the notable alumni in the "Programs" section to the "Notable Alumni and Faculty" section? I'm thinking it would be best to consolidate notable alumni and faculty there without specifically mentioning their college or what not. Then more specific information could go in the College of Engineering article and the List of University of Utah people. Klubbit (talk) 23:01, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I'll look at that site. I agree, the programs section needs some work. I've cleaned up/cited all the smaller sections except for the marching band section. The programs and athletics sections will be a feat though. Klubbit (talk) 01:16, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for looking into that. I was thinking I might try taking some campus photos myself, though I'm going to work on the University of Utah content a bit more first. If I end up doing it I'll let you know in case there are still more photos you're looking for. Klubbit (talk) 06:34, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I took some new photos that you might be interested in. Unfortunately my noob photography skills are obvious, and it was getting late so the lighting isn't very good. Klubbit (talk) 06:01, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Running Man Barnstar
I am awarding you this barnstar for your great efforts in improving pages involving Utah athletics and in particular your creation and work on the Utah Red Rocks page. Ute in DC (talk) 01:26, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good Work!

[edit]
The Original Barnstar
Great job on all your contributions to Holy War (Utah vs. BYU). Your edits were fair to both sides in an article that a lot of editors like to use to insult or mislead about one school or the other. I tried to find a 'Keeping It Real' barnstar, but I don't think there is one. So consider this a recognition of your ability to fairly cover a topic even though you cheer for one side. Glennfcowan (talk) 03:05, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. The infobox looks good. There used to be something similar in the article, but the logos got deleted for copyright issues, and then it was eventually removed.

Kyle Whittingham page

[edit]

Would you be willing to expand the 2009 season section on the Kyle Whittingham page? It's a bit sparse now. —Ute in DC (talk) 19:52, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Y hack

[edit]

I loved your revert today from that Y hack and their biased entry... classic. Someone's bitter about not getting an invite to the Pac-12. Of course, maybe if the Y was not a religious school, maybe they would have been invited. All I know is, as a Utah and UCLA alumn, I'm very excited about 2011! Yeah, it is incredible to me how bitter and jealous some of them are.UteFan16 (talk) 21:42, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
