Abstract
In this paper the way in which the explanations about the fenomenon of conceptual
change inherit ideas coming from the Philosophy of Science, developmental theories and
Science teaching is examined. Due to the disparity of these fields of knowledge there is a
certain bewilderment and confusion giving as a result the bluring of some shortcomings
and constraints. In the face of this state of affairs we suggest to come up to the
Psychology of Learning, giving a special emphasis to concept learning and to the way the
knowledge is used.
