“Don’t Speak”
No Doubt es una banda de Rock formada en 1986 en California, Estados Unidos. Su música estuvo en
sus inicios influenciada por el ska, evolucionando posteriormente más hacia el new wave
Fue 6 años después de su formación cuando lanzaron su álbum debut No Doubt,
El tercer sencillo del álbum, estableció un récord tras permanecer 16 semanas en el puesto número uno
del Billboard Hot 100.
En 1991 recibieron la oferta de Interscope Records para grabar su primer disco, llamado No Doubt, que
fue lanzado en 1992.
Actualmente no se encuentran grabando un nuevo disco tal como lo aseguran en su página

oficial en Facebook.

No Doubt is a Rock band formed in 1986 (nineteen eighty six) in California, United States. Their music

"Don't Speak" es una canción de la banda estadounidense de rock No Doubt. Fue lanzado en 1996
como el tercer sencillo del tercer álbum de estudio de la banda, Tragic Kingdom (1995). La cantante
Gwen Stefani escribió la canción sobre su compañero de banda y ex novio, Tony Kanal poco después
de que terminó su relación de siete años juntos.

Don't Speak" se considera el mayor hit musical de No Doubt, como demuestra su nominación
como Canción del Año y Mejor Actuación de Pop por un dúo o grupo vocal en los Premios Grammy de
1998."

"Do not Speak" is a song by American rock band No Doubt. It was launched in 1996 (nineteen eighty six)
as the third single from the third album by the band. Singer Gwen Stefani wrote the song about his
bandmate and former boyfriend Tony Kanal shortly after they ended their seven years relationship.
Despite the popularity of the song “Don´t speak” did not reach the count of the billboard hot 100 (one
hundred) (because the rules of those times required commercial singles to be counted and this song has
not reached such a category) but this song got to reach number 1 (one) in the lists of the Billboard hot
100 (one hundred) Airplay.
The song also positioned at number 1 (one) in England, Ireland, Canada, Latvia and Australia. The
single begin the revival of ska in the mid-90s, it has also been the most successful song that No Doubt
has released internationally.
Do not Speak "is considered the greatest musical hit of No Doubt, as his nomination for Song of the Year
and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group Vocal in the Grammy Awards 1998."
