    Posición de los adverbios de tiempo

    Los adverbios que expresan cuándo ocurre la acción generalmente se


    colocan al final de la oración.
    Algunos pueden colocarse también al comienzo de la oración, para dar
    énfasis al adverbio.

    I'm going to the cinema tomorrow.


    Tomorrow I'm going to the cinema. (significado más fuerte)

    I will call you later.


    Later I will all you. (significado más fuerte)

    I went to the doctor yesterday.


    Yesterday I went to the doctor. (significado más fuerte)

    Orden de los adverbios de tiempo

    Cuando se necesitan usar varios adverbios en la misma oración, el orden es:

    How long (duración) + How often (frecuencia) + When (cuándo)

    I go to school for four hours (duración) every day (frecuencia).


    I went to Paris for two weeks (duración) last year (cuándo).
    I worked for that company for two months (duración) every other
    day (frecuencia) last year(cuándo).

    Ejemplos

    My boss was in a meeting yesterday afternoon.


    Mi jefe estaba en una reunión ayer a la tarde.

    I didn't sleep too well last night.


    No dormí muy bien anoche.

    Tom has his music lesson today.


    Tom tiene clase de música hoy.

    I'm not feeling very well this morning.


    No me siento muy bien esta mañana.

    My brother left home at noon.


    Mi hermano salió de casa al mediodía.

    Are you going to the club this afternoon?


    ¿Vas al club esta tarde?

    I'll phone you this evening.


    Te llamaré por teléfono esta noche.

    I think I'll go to bed early tonight.
