Duty Support NEW Updated

The Duty Support system allows you to bring certain NPCs with you into instanced dungeons required to progress through the main quest without queuing with other players.

To use the Duty Support system, select "Duty Support" from the main menu or from the entrance to an applicable duty.

Use Duty Support from a Duty Access Point

1. Start Duty Support

At a duty's access point, select the Duty Support option.

(Duties that apply to the Duty Support system are marked with a special icon at the entrance.)

2. Select NPCs

Check NPC information in the pop-up window, then select Register for Duty.

Certain duties allow you to switch out the NPCs in your party. This is indicated by a message that displays underneath your party members.

Click on your party members or press the confirm button on your controller to open a window showing a list of available NPCs for that duty.

(Instanced dungeons in A Realm Reborn have pre-set NPC party members that cannot be switched out.)

3. Begin the Duty

Confirm the information on the window prompt that appears, then select Commence.

(If you do not begin the duty within the time limit, you will need to begin from Step 1 again.)

4. Play with NPCs

You can now begin a duty with your selected NPCs.

2. Select a Duty

Select the duty you wish to begin in the list, then select Register for Duty.
