Patrick Verwijmeren

Patrick Verwijmeren is Professor of Corporate Finance at the Erasmus School of Economics (Erasmus University Rotterdam). Patrick specializes in convertible securities, short sales, and testing capital structure theories. He has publications in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, among others. He has presented at many international conferences, including the WFA, AFA, EFA, and FMA meetings. Patrick has also been involved in writing a report for the Dutch Ministry of Finance, dealing with the influence of hedge funds and private equity in the Netherlands.
