Steve Parker

Dr Steve Parker was a Senior Lecturer in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University. He is a registered nurse, and taught critical thinking, communication/interpersonal skills, ethics, and research methods. His research areas included the theory-practice gap, assessment alignment, and factors in first year that influence student success. His PhD was in the area of professional autonomy. He taught for over 30 years in the higher education sector in Australia and enjoys exploring new technologies that support life, work and learning.
