Darryl McLeod
Darryl McLeod (mcleod@fordham.edu) is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Bronx-RH campus of Fordham University. Working on a 2011 UCLA-NAID Packard Foundation funded Project and Bethex CU he co-directed a survey of New York Female Household Heads born in Guererro and Puebla focusing on how and to whom they send remittances and gain access to financial services in NYC. Parallel surveys were conducted by similar inter-disciplinary teams in Mexico, North Carolina, and Los Angeles. Dr. McLeod has also been a consultant to the SECOFI, the OAS, the IDB, the World Bank and UNDP’s BDP’s Poverty Group, and UNDP's BCPR (Bureau of Crisis Prevention and Recovery).
