I am a faculty member researching migration policy in South Africa. My research interests also center around immigration rights, human rights broadly defined, national identity, borders and the state, constructivist foreign policy, securitization of refugee policy, internationalization of global justice, globalization and the state. In addition to this, I am interested in the Swahili language and the diaspora.I look to create content that is well research, methodologically sound and public facing. I consult, write grants, and perform qualitative and quantitative research assignments.
