Rahul Johari is teaching at University School Of Automation and Robotics, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, East Delhi Campus, Delhi, India. He has done his PostDoctoral Research from School of Computer and System Sciences(SC&SS), JNU and PhD from Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi. Presently, he is the Head of the Software Development Cell and Head and Founder of SWINGER [Security, Wireless, IoT Network Group of Engineering and Research]. His profile has been accepted into 'Marquis Who's Who for the 2018 and 2019 Edition', which comprises of the top 3% of the professionals in the world.

He has been selected as ACM Eminent Speaker(ESP) by ACM India Council in 2021. He has been chosen as Best Faculty Award by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and SEMS Inc in April 2022. He is the Founder-cum-Faculty Mentor of the IT Startup 'UDIP [ Unified Devices for Inclusion of PwD] Technologies Private Limited', an IPU-Innovation Incubation Foundation funded company established to provide IT Solutions (Hardware / Software) for the People with Disabilities('PwD')[Divyangjan'].

Prior to joining Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in September 2007,he worked in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing(C-DAC), NOIDA from September 2001 to August 2007. He is Microsoft/Google Certified Professional and ODEM certified BlockChain Faculty. He was awarded with Best Teacher/Researcher Award at GGSIP University for the academic year 2013-2014 and 2014-2015. He is the recipient of the FRGS(Faculty Research Grant Scheme, GGSIP University) for the Academic Years : 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-2021. He is a member of International Scientific Societies/Organizations like: IEEE(Membership Number: 93376115), ACM(Membership Number: 3744657), IAENG(Membership Number: 104516), AUN Research Lab(Membership Number: 2011001629), SEMS(Membership Number: 0249), DSCI(Data Security Council of India) and life member cum executive committee member of CCICI (Cloud Computing and Innovation Council of India). With 97 SCOPUS indexed publications, 20+ book chapters and over 100 publications in leading IEEE, Springer, ELSEVIER and ACM indexed International Conferences and Journals of repute, his current H-index is 15. He currently holds Indian Ranking of 28 in the domain of Computer Science Research as per AD Scientific Index [World Scientist and University Rankings 2021(University based)].

Several routing schemes have been proposed for intermittently connected wireless mobile networks.... more Several routing schemes have been proposed for intermittently connected wireless mobile networks. The effectiveness of these routing schemes is mostly evaluated using the metrics: messages delivered, message traffic and delay suffered by delivered messages. These metrics provide very limited evaluation of routing schemes. Even very simple and well known attributes like time and space complexity of routing schemes were not measured for evaluating the quality and applicability of routing schemes. Therefore, many significant aspects such as, resource utilization, efficiency in terms of space and time, quality of service parameters and security aspect etc. of routing schemes get overlooked. In this paper, we present the results of experimental evaluation, through simulation, of routing schemes for intermittently connected wireless mobile networks such as Delay Tolerant Network. We evaluated four routing schemes, based on different principles, namely First contact, Epidemic, Spray and wait and Dynamic Social Grouping, on parameters, such as, resource utilization, efficiency, performance and security. We found Spray and wait routing scheme performed better than others, both in terms of resource utilization and efficiency (time and space).

SIoT could be useful in providing social help in healthcare industry. This paper describes how it can be used for the social well-being of the people with disabilities (PwD). A particular scenario for the blind persons has been taken into consideration, that is, how to ease the travelling for blinds, especially in crossing a traffic light. The main focus is to make them walk and travel independently without the help of others. A traffic light crossing (TLC) algorithm has been proposed to help the visually challenged persons to cross the traffic light in IoT Network. In this chapter, different computing types for IoT and tools supporting have also been discussed.

Today’s environment is witnessing a change in the shopping scenario as most of the urban user of ... more Today’s environment is witnessing a change in the shopping scenario as most of the urban user of all the age group prefers to buy and sell the product online. The companies allow the buyer to give feedback and reviews related to the product and with this user can easily share their views about any product, brand, services, hotel etc. Before making the purchase the customer nowadays always go-through the reviews which are present on the portal or vortal because it gives them the idea about the quality and service given by the company related to that product or brand. Not always the reviews are genuine but fake reviews are also available to promote and de-promote the product and one cannot easily distinguish which one is real and which one is fake. The positive reviews build a good impact on the user for buying the product whereas the negative reviews always restrict the user from buying a particular product. The proposed work classifies the reviews on the basis of rating ranging from 1 to 5. The review whose rating is greater than 3.5 is considered as the positive reviews and whose rating is less than 3.5 is considered as the negative reviews. The simulation of proposed work has been done in jupyter notebook and the results are encouraging.

ABSTRACT In this paper we present a new routing approach, Context-Aware Community Based Routing(C... more ABSTRACT In this paper we present a new routing approach, Context-Aware Community Based Routing(CACBR) that exploits the social-based movement pattern and the context-awareness of nodes, for efficient message delivery in Delay Tolerant Network. The nodes having a common point of interest forms a dynamic community structure. We have identified node&#39;s attributes and formulated a utility function to determine their capability in delivering a message. We validated through simulation the effectiveness of attributes at estimation node&#39;s message delivery capability. We also compared our approach with dynamic social grouping(DSG) based routing approach and context-aware routing(CAR) on three metrics, message delivery ratio, total message traffic, average delay. It was found that the results of our approach outperforms the DSG and CAR on all the three metrics.

For this purpose, various routing schemes have been proposed and conceived. But there has not been a significant amount of work that depicts their comparisons. So, in this paper we aim at doing a performance analysis of some of the major and widely used routing algorithms under parametric constraints and simultaneously showing their comparisons. Eventually this analysis would help in picking up the most efficient routing scheme amongst all the algorithms.
